Canen Border Collies

Sue and Luke Windsor have four border collies - Dart, Karcach Ruby, Canen Geel and Canen Myst. Here's what they have to say about their dogs.

Dart

Dart, our tri-colour isn't a Canen. He has CEA which is why we will now only have eye tested clear pups. He is great with us but exhibits nervous aggression towards other people and dogs. He won me out of Starters in 1999, and even now at 10 still loves agility.

Karcach Ruby

Karcach Ruby (aka Ruby) is our red tri-colour bitch. She was born in March 2000, sired by Spit out of Gael. She is a very head strong girl who won out of Starters in 2002. Ruby loves agility (a little bit too much at times), and has also had a couple of "training" sessions at sheep work at Ewe-phoria.

Canen Geel

Canen Geel is our blue merle dog, born March 2002 and sired by Sadghyl Pip out of Gyl. He is a very stunning dog, yes, I maybe slightly biased but we love him. He is very affectionate and loves people. He learns very quickly but not always the correct things. He loves agility and sheep work. He first went to Aled Owen at Ewe-phoria at 8 months old and initially didn't know what to do but on the third time in with the sheep he realised what he was meant to do. He also likes relaxing on a 2-seater sofa with Ruby.

Canen Myst

Canen Myst is our red merle bitch, born March 2006 and sired by Eryri Roy out of Titch. She's a very forward little girl, or a tart as she has been affectionately described. She is enjoying being a little girl and everyone wants to see puppies so it takes hours getting around at an agility show.
