The saying goes 'A dog is for life'. I bred my first litter in 1955, and after all these many years of experience I can honestly say that's certainly true of my life!
As well as keeping and breeding dogs I have also trained them for stunt work, obedience, racing, trialling, etc. Their enthusiasm and joy for life keeps me enthralled, but then if you're reading this page you've probably already discovered this about dogs for yourself.
My Border Collies are bred with only work in mind, whether it's agility, flyball, obedience, herding or trialling, etc. I am careful with their health, and pups are properly fed and reared from parents that are healthy in body and mind, with nice natures and that are attractive to look at. BUT, they are NOT showdogs for the beauty ring. I prefer my puppies to enter homes which will encourage their natural working abilities, keeping their minds stimulated and their bodies active.
Puppies sold are ear marked for easy recognition, registered with the ISDS and/or KC and can be microchipped on request. Overseas buyers must collect and I'm afraid I will not sell to regions other than Europe or North America.

Canen owners will be pleased to provide references as to the trainability and good temperament of my dogs. Please just ask.
I'm afraid I do get one complaint though - inexperienced handlers often find my dogs too fast - you've really got to concentrate to keep up with them!
