December 2008
Sunday 28 December - Shirley's 2008 Review
Wow, this year has simply flown by, and for owner/trainers of Canen Collies it has been a very rewarding one yet again.
A quick count up tonight revealed that in the 8 years I have bred Canens specially for Agility etc, a grand total of 51 dogs plus have been regularly winning or getting placed. I also know of many more with at least one Canen parent that have done well too – this includes most Brynings and the top Scottish dog Bannetstane Nike Lets Do It.
I must mention those at Olympia last week – Bryning Red Rascal, Canen Amber Sundance and Canen Skyrocket No Worries who did so well to get there and get placed. A very Happy New Year to everyone – you make me so proud.
Of course this includes the Obedience competitors that have kept the flag flying at home and abroad, and the many flyballers and not so many sheepdog triallers.
I also want to send out a big thank you to all the owners of pet companion Canens that give so much love and devotion to their dogs and keep in touch with me regularly with their goings on.
With much love and looking forward to hearing news of the many endeavours of Canens everywhere in 2009 ...
Shirley xx
